Peggy Lancaster Fowler

Peggy Lancaster Fowler, 89, passed away Sunday January 21, 2024, in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Peggy was born October 24, 1934, to the late Sidney and Ora Pace Belue.  She was a graduate of Cowpens High School. After high school, she was employed with AAFES in Arizona, Alaska and Washington state, where she retired in 1989. Peggy married her late husband Henry Fowler Jr. in 1955 they shared sixty-four cherished years together before his passing.

Peggy enjoyed sewing and spending time with her quite large family as she came from a family of fourteen brothers and sisters. She is survived by a son Steven Fowler (Ellen), Grandchildren; Stefanie Neat (Joseph) and Kody Fowler, Greatgrandchildren John Cochran, James Cochran, Teresa Neat, Joseph Neat Jr. Siblings: Bobby Belue, Barbara Belue, Maggie Brannon, Betty Smith, Dorothy Scruggs, Doris Peterson.Peggy is predeceased by her late husband Henry Fowler, her infant son Jerry Dean Fowler, Both parents Sidney and Ora Belue, siblings: Marguerite Carey, Margaret Belue, Paul Belue, John Belue, Ralph Belue, Harold Belue, Frank Belue, Carl Belue.

Services will be held Monday January 29, 2024, at the J.F Floyd Mortuary Greenlawn Chapel 2075 E. Main Street Spartanburg, SC 29307. Visitation will be held in the chapel from Noon until 12:45 pm, followed by funeral services in the chapel beginning at 1pm. Burial will immediately follow the service at 2pm at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens located at 1300 Fernwood- Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
