Patricia "Patti" Owens

Patricia Ann Frawley Owens, 64, of Spartanburg, SC, died Sunday, February 5, 2023 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born March 18, 1958 in Brooklyn, NY, Patti was the daughter of the late James Frawley, II, and the wife of the late David Eugene Owens.

Patricia moved to Spartanburg, SC with her parents and brothers in 1965. She was a graduate of Spartanburg High School, Class of 1976. Patti worked as a bank teller for many years at First Federal Bank and First Piedmont Federal Savings. She also worked as a cashier at Ingles Markets. Patti spent years singing in the choir at First Baptist North Spartanburg. Patti loved music, reading, the beach, and being around the people she loved. She was a beloved, wife, mother, daughter, sister, and most of all, friend to everyone.

Survivors include her son, Joel David Owens; her daughter, Rachel Elizabeth Timmons (Chase); her mother, June Adele Frawley; her brother, Thomas Matthew Frawley; all of Spartanburg, SC; nieces, Krista Hedge and Jennifer Halko; nephews, William Frawley-Knox, Devin Wilson, and Deon Shippy. Along with her father and husband, she was predeceased by a brother, James Frawley, III and sister-in-law, Lizzie Lee Frawley.

Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Floyd’s Boiling Springs Chapel, 4161 Hwy. 9 North, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 10, 2023 at the chapel, conducted by the Rev. Martha Timmons. Burial will be held in Mount Pleasant Church Cemetery, 397 Mount Pleasant Church Road, Forest City, NC 28043.
