Patricia Hoover

Patricia "Pat" Ferguson Hoover, 76, of Spartanburg, SC, died Monday, February 8, 2016, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born May 18, 1939, in Greenville, SC and reared in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Irene Elizabeth Clark Ferguson. Mrs. Hoover was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, director of WMU, and a choir member since 1957. She was a graduate of Spartanburg High School and retired as administrative assistant to the Flight Chief of Flight Service Station in Greenville and Anderson, SC. Survivors include her husband, Robert Jerold "Jerry" Hoover, Jr.; and son, Robin Hoover of Spartanburg, SC. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Gary Clark Ferguson, Sr. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, February 10, 2016, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Thursday, February 11, 2016, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, by the Rev. Keith Higginbotham. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 4000 Parris Bridge Road, Boiling Springs, SC 29316.
