Patricia Bradford Fowler, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2026, in Spartanburg, South Carolina, at the age of 87. Born on March 19, 1938, in Greenville, South Carolina, daughter to the late Virgil Arnold Bradford and Agnes Ola Stroud Bradford.
For over 16 years, Patricia dedicated her professional talents as an Administrative Assistant at Wofford College, contributing greatly to the institution and the community. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, where she attended for over 50 years and was active in the Sr. Adult Counsel and Builders Sunday School.
Patricia was not only devoted to her work and faith but also cultivated her artistic side as a wonderful painter. She had a zest for life that led her to be an enthusiastic traveler, particularly European destinations and the scenic Northeast coast of New England.
Patricia is survived by her daughter, Molly Fowler Haulbrook (Jeff) of Salem, SC, and her son, Mark Bradford Fowler (Julie) of Spartanburg, SC; her beloved sister, Lynne Sawyer of Spartanburg, SC, and sister-in-law, Angelina Painter Eschauzier of Spartanburg, SC; her grandchildren: Mahlon Haulbrook Cameron (Bretton) of Greenville, SC, Kelsey Smith (Tayshon) of Spartanburg, SC, and Ryan Fowler of Spartanburg, SC, as well as her great-grandchildren, Ayden Smith and Noah Smith of Spartanburg, SC, and Wels Cameron and Reeves Cameron of Greenville, SC.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Manning Fowler, who will always be remembered in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
A graveside service will be held 10:00 AM, Friday, February 6, 2026, Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC, 29307; followed by receiving of friends. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Brad Gray.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Bethel United Methodist Church, 245 S. Church St., Spartanburg, SC 29306.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff at the RoseCrest Retirement Community and at Spartanburg Regional Hospital for all their loving care.
