Pamela Gossett

Pamela Lynn Keith Gossett, 66, of Spartanburg, SC, died Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born January 24, 1951 in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of Betty Burnett Keith and the late Thomas Allen Keith Sr. Mrs. Gossett received her bachelor's degree from Winthrop College. Pamela was the first official kindergarten teacher in Spartanburg School District 7, teaching at Park Hills Elementary School for over 25 years. She was a member of Morningside Baptist Church and the Ruth Sunday School class. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughter, Michelle G. Reynolds, and husband, Steven; grandsons, Tristan Reynolds and Ryan Reynolds; all of whom are from Spartanburg, SC; brother, Allen Keith, and wife, Susan of Lyman, SC; and former husband, Joe Gossett of Spartanburg, SC. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 PM Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Monday, April 24, 2017 in the chapel, conducted by the Rev. Steven R. Owensby. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
