Nick Jones

Nicky Joe Jones, 77, of Pacolet Mills, SC, died Friday, July 26, 2019 at Midway Residential Care Facility. Born March 4, 1942 in Spartanburg County, SC, he was the son of the late Herbert and Edith Perry Jones and the widower of Charlotte Corn Jones. Nick was retired from the SC Dept. of Natural Resources as a Wildlife Officer. He was a member of Pacolet Mills Baptist Church. Survivors include his son, David Jones of Lancaster, SC; a granddaughter, Olivia Jones of Spartanburg, SC; two nieces, Lynn Brunson and Kim Moss, both of Spartanburg, SC. He was also predeceased by his brother, Bob Jones. Visitation will be at 1:00 - 1:45 PM Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel, 141 Memorial Drive, Pacolet, SC 29372. A funeral service will be at 2:00 PM at the chapel, conducted by The Rev. Eddie Willis. Burial will follow in Pacolet Memorial Gardens, 141 Memorial Drive, Pacolet, SC 29372.
