Nettie Mae Hawkins

Nettie Mae Smith Lynch Hawkins, 95, passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at Spartanburg Medical Center.  Nettie was born on August 1, 1928, in Spartanburg, SC, a daughter of the late Wes and Nannie Smith.  

Nettie was a homemaker and was Southern Baptist by faith. She was deeply devoted to and loved by her family. 

She was predeceased by her husbands, Beverly Lynch and Carlyn James Hawkins; her five children, Janice Diane Sims, Robert Hesley Lynch, Sr., Stanley Lynch, Beverly Tina Lynch and Anita Allen Weir; and her brother. 

Nettie is survived by a grandson, Robert Hesley Lynch, Jr. (April) of Spartanburg, and a niece, Janet Smith of Moore, SC.
