Ned Dillard

Ned Oren Dillard, 85, of Spartanburg, SC, died Monday, May 2, 2016, at Magnolia Manor-Spartanburg. Born July 6, 1930, in Spartanburg County, SC, he was the son of the late Oren W. and Lottie Davis Dillard and husband of the late Linda Ragan Dillard. A U. S. Army veteran, Mr. Dillard was retired from the textile industry. Surviving are his son, Joel Dillard of the Charles Lea Center, Spartanburg; brothers, Bill Dillard of Greer, SC and Wesley Dillard of Moore, SC; sisters, Faye Iris Dixon of Inman, SC and Carolyn Elmore of Spartanburg, SC; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted by the family at 4:00 PM Wednesday, May 4, 2016, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
