Nathan Aramus Reynolds

November 3, 1999 — July 17, 2025

Spartanburg

Nathan Aramus Reynolds, a cherished son, brother, grandson, and friend, left this world far too soon on July 17, 2025. Born on November 3, 1999, in Spartanburg, Nathan was the son of Frank Wallace Reynolds and Beverly Jones Cozart.

Known for his ability to form friendships effortlessly, he connected deeply with those around him. Nathan possessed a remarkable depth of empathy, always striving to be a fixer and guardian for those in pain. The role of protector was of utmost importance to him, particularly when it came to his mother, Beverly. He was often described as having the heart of an old soul, as he approached life with an understanding beyond his years. He was an avid gamer who enjoyed playing video games and loved music, which was evident as he proudly sang in the choir at his church.

Nathan is survived by his father, Frank Wallace Reynolds, and his wife, Jessie Reynolds; Nathan's mother, Beverly Jones Cozart, and her husband, Robert Dean Cozart, III; Nathan's brother, Christopher Lee Nelson Jones, and his wife, Alexandra Paige Jones; step-brothers, Jimmy Daniel Splawn and his wife, Laura Marilyn Splawn, along with Zach, Johnny, and Christopher Cooksey; maternal grandparents, Richard Simeon Jones and Dianne Shipp Jones; step-grandparents, David and Carol Whitt; nieces, Eloise Grace Jones and Emma Grace Splawn; and cousins, Christopher Taylor and Shelby Taylor. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Victoria Ozdowski.

Nathan's life will be celebrated with a Visitation from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM, Monday, July 21, 2025, Second Presbyterian Church, 438 N Church St, Spartanburg, SC 29303.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM, at Second Presbyterian Church. Service will be conducted by the Rev. Hudson Neely.

In his passing, Nathan leaves behind not only memories, but a legacy of love, empathy, and a spirit that will forever resonate in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
