Myrtle Guyton

Myrtle Lou Guyton, 87, of Pacolet, SC, died Friday, March 3, 2023 at her home. Born March 27, 1935 in Pacolet, SC, she was the daughter of the late Creed and Emma Foster McBride and the wife of the late Samuel Wilburn Guyton.

Myrtle was retired from Arkwright Mills. She was a member of Pacolet Mills Church of God. Myrtle loved her animals and flower beds. After she retired, stayed home to nurture her beloved grandchildren.

Survivors include her son, Eugene Guyton of Pacolet, SC; granddaughter, Amber Reardon (Jason) of Union, SC; her grandsons, Michael Guyton of Cowpens, SC and Jonathan Parris of Gaffney, SC; her great grandsons, Daniel McCutcheon, Conner McCutcheon and Nathan Parris; her siblings, Corrine Kingsmore (Charles) of Greenwood, SC and Jimmy Louie McBride of Cannons Campground, SC; and her niece, Tracey Huggins of Spartanburg, SC.

Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at Pacolet Memorial Gardens, 141 Memorial Drive, Pacolet, SC 29372, conducted by Pastor Jonathan Shook.
