Myra Geraldine Webber, age 85, died peacefully on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at her home after an extended illness.
Myra was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina on August 30, 1940, the daughter of the late James Pinkney Horton and the late Jamie Pauline Scruggs Horton. Myra was beloved by all who knew her. She loved being a mother and built a close, lasting bond with her daughters. Myra attended the Salvation Army Church.
She is survived by her two remaining sisters: Joan Henderson and Jean Frady; a brother: Truman Horton; her four daughters that she loved dearly: Karen Diamantis, Carolyn Wells, Debbie Pearson and Vicky Randall. Also surviving are her eleven grandchildren and seventeen Great Grandchildren.
Marya’ family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to all those who helped care for Myra in the final days of her life. Spartanburg Regional Hospice and Amedisys Hospice Care delivered compassionate care in a very professional manner.
The family will receive friends between 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. The funeral service to honor Myra’s life will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel. Rev, Bill Keykendall will officiate the service with the burial following the funeral in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Myra’s memories will continue to live in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her.
