Monty Wyatt

Montgomery “Monty” Scott Wyatt, 58, of Pacolet, passed away on Saturday evening, March 23, 2024, at his home. Monty was born on September 6, 1965, in Spartanburg, SC, a son of Edward and Linda Spencer Wyatt.

A graduate of Broome High School, Monty was an employee of Milliken & Company for over 30 years. He was a member of Pacolet First Baptist Church and he enjoyed fishing and playing golf.

Along with his parents, Monty is survived by his sister, Angie Smiley (Jeff) of Pacolet; his brother, Eddie Wyatt (Amanda) of Spartanburg; a niece and four nephews; a one great-niece.

A service to honor Monty’s life will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 2024, at Pacolet First Baptist Church, 310 West Main Street, Pacolet, SC 293072, conducted by the Rev. Tyler Ridings and the Rev. Tommy Sparks.  The family will receive friends following the service in the church sanctuary.

The family is at the home of Linda and Edward Wyatt.
