Mollie B. Gooch, 99, of Pauline, SC, died Saturday, May 19, 2018 at her home. Born June 10, 1918 in Whitney, SC, she was the daughter of the late Henry Hodge and Emily Green Bell and the widow of Deems Hickman Gooch. Ms. Mollie was a member of Glenn Springs Presbyterian Church and was a homemaker. She was a South Carolina Artisan whose arts and crafts were displayed by invitation only at the State Artisan Center in Walterboro, SC. Survivors include her daughter, Kay Gooch of Pauline, SC and grandson, Jason Garner of Pauline, SC. She was also predeceased by a daughter, Nancy Deems Gooch; three brothers and five sisters. Visitation will be 1:00 - 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Graveside service will be at 2:30 PM in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by The Rev. Dr. B.E. Pettit.
