Minnie Thompson Wells

Minnie Juanita Thompson Wells, 94, of Pacolet, died Thursday, March 14, 2024, at White Oak North Grove. A native of Cherokee County, she was born on April 20, 1929, a daughter of the late William J. and Inez Byers Thompson and the widow of James L. Wells.

She was a clerk with Community Cash Stores and a member of Tate Memorial Baptist Church.

Surviving are her daughters, Suzanne W. Schultz (Tim) of Pacolet and Jan W. Fortune (Randy) of Spartanburg; two grandsons, Russell Wells Fortune and Andrew Nicholas Fortune and five great grandchildren; sister, Patricia Thompson. She was predeceased by her two sisters, Joanne Wilson and Rebecca Reynolds.

Graveside service will be at 12:00 noon, Tuesday, March 19, 2024, in Pacolet Memorial Gardens conducted by her son in law, Tim Schultz.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
