Maverick Kotewa

Maverick K. Kotewa, infant son of Jeremy Michael and Ashley Nicole Fowler Kotewa, died Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Besides his parents, Maverick is survived by a brother, Leland Jones, two sisters, Lillyanna Jones and Emelia Harris, all of the home; maternal grandparents, Alicia Jones (Clarence); paternal grandmother, Caroline Kotewa; great-grandfathers, Garland Richards, of Cowpens, SC, and Sam Jones of Chesnee, SC; great-grandmothers, Rose Robertson of Spartanburg and Lucinda Paris of Union, SC.  He is also survived by aunts, uncles and many cousins.  Maverick was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Jeff Watts, great-grandmother, Evelyn Jones and uncle Matthew Paris.

A visitation will be held Saturday, September 18, 2021, at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC, 29307, from 2:00-4:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center NICU, 101 East Wood Street, Spartanburg, SC, 29303.
