Matthew Carr

Matthew Edward Carr, 76, husband of Linda Lynnette Messner Carr, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice House.  Born March 26, 1946, in Harrisonburg, Virginia, he was a son of the late Mildred Carr Crawford and stepson of the late Melvin Crawford.

Mr. Carr was a retired carpenter and a U. S. Army Vietnam veteran.

Survivors along with his wife, Linda Lynnette, of 57 years, are a daughter, Denise Martocci (Tom), a granddaughter, Tabitha Martocci, a brother, Walter Crawford, sisters, Nona Bates and Linda Silks, and his four-legged fur babies, Rosie and Roger.  Mr. Carr was predeceased by a sister, Beverly Tuplessie.

Private services will be held.
