Martha McClellan Bradley, passed away on January 4, 2026, in Forest City, North Carolina, at the age of 80. Born on February 15, 1945, in Spartanburg, South Carolina, Martha was the daughter of the late Floyd Walter McClellan, Jr. and Martha Willis McClellan.
Martha was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, and a 1963 graduate of Spartanburg High School. She dedicated her life to the pursuit of knowledge as a proud graduate of Limestone College, she spent many years teaching both elementary and junior high school, inspiring generations with her passion for education.
Martha was known not only for her commitment to her career but also for her warm and jovial spirit. Her happiness radiated in her interactions with family, friends, and colleagues, making her a cherished figure in the lives of many. Outside the classroom, Martha enjoyed cross-stitching, particularly during the Christmas season when she crafted heartfelt gifts for those she loved. Her love for reading also provided her with joy and enrichment throughout her life.
Martha leaves behind her daughter, Laura Bradley, her brother Robert McClellan (Sue), and her nieces, Juli and Laura McClellan. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Kenneth R. Bradley.
