Mark Silverman

Mark Edward Silverman, 80, of Spartanburg, SC passed away on July 21, 2022 at White Oak Estates. He was born January 1, 1942 in Wilmington, DE to the late Solomon and Betty Glazer Silverman and was married to Margaret “Peggy” Osterhout Silverman.

A veteran of the United States Air Force, Mark served his country for four years. He was a lover of golf and food and had a fantastic sense of humor. A friend to anyone he met, Mark was a natural conversationalist. Most of all, he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Along with his wife, he is survived by children, Michele Krugar (Larry) of Southampton, PA, Michael Silverman of Woodruff, SC, and Melissa Silverman of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Michaela Krugar, Sean Krugar, Aaron Silverman, and Sarah Silverman; and sister, Ellen Blank (Harvey) of Ventnor, NJ.

Inurnment will be in Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Pennsylvania.
