Mark Gilbert Godbee passed away on April 14, 2024. Born on May 30, 1972 in Bulloch County, Georgia. He was the son of Gilbert and the late Glenda Godbee.  Mark led a remarkable life filled with love, passion, and dedication.

Mark graduated from the University of South Carolina in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, laying the foundation for a successful career at QS/1 and Ortec, where he worked in Administration. His commitment to his work was truly inspiring, and he left a lasting impact on all those he worked with.

Beyond his professional achievements, Mark will be remembered for his warm personality and unwavering love for his family. He cherished every moment spent with his loved ones and held a deep passion for sports and music. His eyes would light up whenever he talked about his favorite teams - the Atlanta Braves and the Atlanta Falcons.

In addition to his career and hobbies, Mark was a devoted son to Glenda Godbee. He is survived by his loving daughters, Mia and Lila Godbee of Reidville, S.C., his father Gilbert Godbee of Spartanburg, S.C., his sister Stefanie Threatt (Corey) of Pickens, S.C., and his niece Kaylen Threatt of Pickens, S.C. Mark's presence in their lives brought immense joy and warmth that will forever be cherished.

Mark's memory will live on through the stories shared by those who knew him best. He leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and kindness that will continue to inspire all who were lucky enough to have known him.
