Marie Elizabeth Lowery

Marie Elizabeth Tolleson Lowery, 62, of Spartanburg, died Saturday afternoon, July 15, 2023, at Spartanburg Medical Center.  She was born August 11, 1960, in Spartanburg, a daughter of the late Raymond Lewis Tolleson and Josephine Hattie Hudgins Tolleson. 

Marie’s greatest joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren!  She always enjoyed a good front porch, cooking, and playing hand-held video games. 

Surviving is her daughter, Angela Marie Willis (Jeremy) of Spartanburg; her son, Christopher Dale Jolley (Karen) of Georgia; her three grandchildren, Nicholas Allen Jolley, Austin Guy Willis, and Savannah Marie Willis; her great-granddaughter, Paisley Jolley; her brother, Leonard Tolleson (Donna); and her sister, Libby Lawter.  Marie was also preceded in death by a sister, Gail Tolleson. 

The family will be at their respective residences.
