Margaret Ann Splawn

Margaret Ann Splawn, 81, of Spartanburg, South Carolina passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at her residence.

Margaret was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, the daughter of the late Albert Wesley Lakeman and the late Margaret Louvenia Merrill Lakeman. She was also preceded in death by her husband: Wayne W Splawn. She was a freelance writer and enjoyed writing and expressing her thoughts with words. She also enjoyed knitting and spending time with her family and friends. She loved her community. Margaret was a loving wife and mother. She will be missed by her friends and family.

Left to cherish her many memories are her son: Jerome “Jay” Splawn; her sister: Kimberly Hollifield (Danny); a brother: Albert W Lakeman.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
