Margaret Shaffer

Margaret Shaffer, 88, of Inman, SC passed away on Friday, March 24, 2023, at Lake Emory Post Acute Care. Born July 22, 1934, in Whitmire, SC to the late David Martin and Pansy Lois Bishop Puckett.

Mrs. Shaffer was a long-time member of Fairview Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include her three grandsons, Andrew Shaffer (Oliva and baby to be Callen) of Greenwood, SC, Harley Shaffer (Julie) of Greenville, SC, and Joseph Shaffer (Autumn) of Anderson, SC; great-granddaughter, Mallory Shaffer Milbourne of Spartanburg, SC; brother, Melvin L. Puckett of Greer, SC; and daughter-in-law, Donna Gardner Shaffer. She was predeceased by her husband, Andrew “Red” Shaffer; sons, Richie Shaffer, Michael Shaffer, and Eddie Shaffer; granddaughter, Morgan Shaffer; two brothers and one sister.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM on Monday, March 27, 2023, at Floyd’s North Church Street Chapel, 235 North Church Street, Spartanburg, SC 29306, conducted by The Rev. Tim Hackett.
