Marcus White

Marcus Linwood White, 54, of Spartanburg, SC, died Sunday, December 16, 2018, at Spartanburg Medical Center, after a long illness. Born April 30, 1964, in Tuscaloosa, AL, he was the son of Mary Oliver White of Spartanburg, SC and the late Marcus B. White. He was the former vice president of M. B. White Contracting, Inc. In addition to his mother, survivors include his son, Marcus Luke White of Roebuck, SC; daughters, Hannah White of Roebuck, SC and Lowry White of Greer, SC; sister, Rexanne White Parker of Spartanburg, SC; nephews, John and Jake Parker of Montgomery, AL; and grandmother, Betty Oliver of Tuscaloosa, AL. Along with his father, he was predeceased by his grandfathers, Rex B. Oliver and L. B. White; and grandmothers, Cora Henderson and Mary White Naler. Visitation will be 3:00-4:00 PM Saturday, December 22, 2018, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307, with a Celebration of his life following at 4:00 PM.
