Maggie Louise Millwood Burns, 87, of Pacolet, South Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2026. Born on October 28, 1938, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Paul Thomas Millwood and Annie B. Millwood.
Maggie worked as a cashier in the retail industry and was a member of Pacolet Mills Baptist Church. She was also involved with the Pacolet Amphitheater Opry House.
Maggie had a love for cooking and especially enjoyed preparing meals for those she cared about. Her nurturing spirit even extended to her beloved dogs, Lil Bit and Toby, for whom she happily cooked special meals.
She is survived by her sister, Faye Mason (Jack); stepdaughters: Donna Camby (Ned) and Sandy Servine (Andy) and special friends, Frank Holden and Jennie Painter. She also leaves behind her beloved dogs, Lil Bit and Toby.
In addition to her parents, Maggie was preceded in death by her husband, R. S. Burns; her son, Mike Harvey and her stepdaughter, Robin Blanton.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Pacolet Memorial Gardens, 141 Memorial Drive, Pacolet, SC 29372.
