Lucille Phillips

Lucille Guyton Phillips, 87, of Pacolet, SC, died Thursday, May 18, 2017, at Riverside Health Care, Covington, GA. Born December 7, 1929, in Pacolet, SC, she was the daughter of the late Boyce and Maggie Johnson Guyton and widow of Charles Albert "Tuffy" Phillips. Mrs. Phillips was a member of Pacolet Mills Baptist Church and a beautician in Pacolet for many years. Survivors include her grandson, Andrew Phillips (Dixy) of Mansfield, GA, great-grandchildren, Ashton Phillips of Conyers, GA and Natalie Phillips of Mansfield, GA; and sister, Jen Branch of Greenville, SC. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son, Charles Albert Phillips, Jr. A graveside service will be conducted at 4:00 PM Friday, May 26, 2017, in Pacolet Memorial Gardens, 141 Memorial Dr., Pacolet, SC 29372, by the Rev. Norman L. Band. Visitation will be at the graveside. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pacolet Mills Baptist Church, PO Box 660, Pacolet Mills, SC 29373.
