Lucille Gardner LeMaster, 85, of Spartanburg, SC, died Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born June 19, 1937 in Cowpens, SC, she was the daughter of Simon A. and Bertha E. Whelchel Gardner and the wife of the late Carroll V. LeMaster.

Lucille was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and Outland Sunday School Class.

The last surviving member of her family. Survivors include her sons, Bruce LeMaster (Dorothy) of Inman, SC and Joey LeMaster of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Kevin LeMaster (Jamey Handley) and Leslie LeMaster (Brannon Hollifield); great grandchildren, Peyton Hollifield, Braeden Hollifield, and Aaron LeMaster. She was preceded by two brothers, Nathan Gardner and Howard Gardner, and a sister, Viola Phillips.

Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 23, 2023 at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel, conducted by The Rev. Monty King. Entombment will follow in the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Complex, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
