Loraine Clement Hambrick Harrell

Loraine Clement Hambrick Harrell, 74, of Landrum, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2023. She was born on October 18, 1948, in Spartanburg, a daughter of the late William (Bill) Harold and Alice Ruth Clement Hambrick.

Following graduation from Spartanburg High School, she did a summer tour all over Europe with Mrs. Fannie Louise Holcombe. She graduated Limestone College and received a Teacher’s Certification from the University of Georgia.  Loraine was a former kindergarten and elementary school teacher and was a collector of dolls.

Survivors are her husband of 47 years, William (Billy) Carter Harrell; a son, Carter Harrell, of Spartanburg, SC; a sister, Billie McConnell (Joe); one grandson, Aayden Carter Harrell; a nephew, William Tanner Adams; three great nieces; Izabella Hambrick Adams, Lily Jayne Adams, and Marley Heath Adams; and her beloved four- legged Malti-Poo, CC.

A cryptside service will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 13, 2023, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Heritage Chapel Mausoleum, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by The Rev. Jane Jenkins. Visitation will be at graveside.
