Laquita Owens Spears

Mrs. Laquita Carroll Owens Spears, 84, formerly of Boiling Springs, died Wednesday, July 12, 2023. A native of Bristol, VA, she was a daughter of the late Earl Washington and Juanita Storts Owens and wife of the late Glenn Spears.

She was a former activity director with Woodlands Skilled Nursing Center in Rutherfordton, NC

Surviving is three sons; Jamie G. Spears (Angie) of Inman, Scott L. Spears (Ruth) of Chesnee and Blake E. Spears (Kimberly) of Inman, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and “Shiloh” her Shih Tzu baby. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Kelly Spears Jensen.
