Kim Elmer Henderson

Kim Elmer Henderson, 74, of Spartanburg, passed away at his home on Saturday, May 23, 2026. Kim was born on January 11, 1952, in Spartanburg, a son of Betty Jo Waldrop Henderson of Spartanburg and the late Charles Elmer Henderson.

A graduate of Dorman High School, Kim was a proud veteran of the US Navy. He was a longtime pest control employee and was a former member of Green Street Baptist Church where he was a coach in the softball program.

Kim was a devoted son and friend to many. He will be deeply missed by those who were fortunate enough to call him family and friend.

Along with his mother, Kim is survived by an aunt, Mildred Pruitt; an uncle, Wayne Henderson; and several cousins and extended family members. He was predeceased by his father, Charles Elmer Henderson, and an aunt, Brenda Hughes.

A graveside service will be held 12:00 pm Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Fort Prince Memorial Gardens, 125 Fort Price Road, Wellford, SC 29385, conducted by the Rev. Tommy Sparks. The family will receive friends at the graveside.
