Kelly Richards, 59, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2026. Born on February 26, 1967.  You will never forget the voice of Kelly. Nor will you forget her smile, her laugh, her fun-loving spirit, and her friendship.

She left us behind to be with her mom, Mary Alice Lamb; her sister, Kim Richards; her dad, James Richards; Greg Addington, who was like a brother to her; her grandma, Nellie; and Aunt Tootie. Imagine the heavenly family reunion.

While her family members grieve her loss, we all know she is happy in Heaven. Tammy Addington, like a sister-in-love; Aunt Lynn Haddock; Steve Addington, her cousin; her goddaughter, Lindsay Bogan; and many other family members will miss her fun-loving spirit.

As for her friends—there are simply too many to name. Kelly loved you all. Never forget your fun stories of friendship and the memories you shared with her.

Take comfort in knowing that she died peacefully in her bed, surrounded by things she loved: a favorite book, the TV remote, and something sweet to eat.

After surviving a long health battle, she was back home, feeling hopeful and happy. While her death was unexpected, she was at peace, taking comfort in her faith.
