Judi Seay Thompson "Grammy", 64, of Lexington and formerly of Spartanburg, SC, died Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at Lexington Medical Center. The wife of Allen Dale Thompson, of the home, she was born February 25, 1952, in Spartanburg, to Clarence Seay of Valley Falls, SC and the late Ruth Vandiver Seay. A devoted Christian, Mrs. Thompson loved her family, children, and grandchildren. She also loved to travel and enjoyed cooking. She was a member of First Baptist North Spartanburg and formerly employed with The Sigurd Center and Lexington Medical Center as a Medical Billing Consultant. In addition to her father and husband, she is survived by son, Trent Thompson (Kirsten) of Lexington, SC; daughter, Amy Weaver (Chris) of Stowe, VT; grandchildren, Rivers Trent Thompson, Walker Cash Thompson, and Baylen Hills Thompson; brother, Wayne Seay (Carol) of Valley Falls, SC; and her pet dog, "Ollie". She was predeceased by a niece, Dena Seay. Visitation will be 12:00-1:45 PM Monday, May 2, 2016, at First Baptist North Spartanburg, 8740 Asheville Hwy, Spartanburg, SC 29316. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM, at the church, conducted by the Rev. Michael Hamlett. Burial will follow in Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens, 4081 Hwy. 9 North, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, PO Box 8328, Greenville, SC 29604 - online at www.lls.org. The family is at the home of Clarence Seay.
