Joyce Amelia Marsh

Joyce Amelia Marsh, a beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, in Spartanburg, SC. She was born on August 6, 1949, in New Prospect, South Carolina and was a daughter of the late Leland and Lula Abernathy Cantrell.

Joyce will be remembered for her dedication her family and the immense love she had for her grandchildren. Her warm personality and caring nature touched the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She is survived by her two daughters, Regina Fyda (Tequila) and Jennifer Long (Jason), along with her four cherished grandchildren, Austin Marsh, Victoria Long, Shontel Harris, and Justin Long. Joyce is also survived by her brother, Dupree Cantrell.

In this time of mourning, Joyce Amelia Marsh's family and friends find solace in the memories they shared with her and take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace.

A Graveside Service to honor and celebrate Joyce's life will be held at 2:00 pm, on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.  Reverend John Hinkle will officiate.

Joyce's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May she rest in eternal peace.
