Joyce Dickson Cash

On September 9, 2025, Joyce Dickson Cash, affectionately known as “Mema” went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior. Joyce had a precious reunion in Heaven with her late husband of 63 years, Bobby Dean Cash; her son Mark Dean Cash; and her parents, P.H Dickson and Sarah D. Dickson. She also joined her siblings Helen Rogers, Paul Dickson, and Roy Dickson.

 Joyce was an active and dedicated member of Converse Baptist Church. She was a member of the Willing Workers Sunday School class. Joyce was a beloved member of the church choir. She dedicated many years as the church clerk. Joyce was a true servant to the LORD, her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

 Joyce is survived by three of her children: Robin Medlock of Cowpens, Linda Kirby (Steve) of Landrum, and Jamie Cash (Stacey) of Spartanburg; five grandchildren Amy Dalton (Kevin), Scott Medlock, Sarah Burnett (Dylan), Rachel Poston (Jonathan); Maxwell Cash; eight great grandchildren: Madison, Landon, Shelby, Raegan, Rylee, Jayden, Kiya, and Cashlynn. 

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 11, 2025, evening from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Converse Baptist Church 325 Main Street, Converse, SC 29329. The funeral service to honor Joyce will be at Converse Baptist Church on Friday, September 12, 2025 at 10:00 A.M, followed by the graveside at Greenlawn Memorial Garden 1300 Fernwood Glendale Rd, Spartanburg, SC 29307 at 12:00 P.M. with Rev. Mike Davis and Rev. Dennis Spencer officiating.
