Joshua David Clark, 40, of Spartanburg, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 7, 2026.

Born on August 11, 1985, in Meriden, Connecticut, Joshua was the beloved son of Debra Harris Clines and the late David James Clark.

Joshua was born with Down syndrome, but he never let it define him. He was a joyful soul whose bright smile, loving heart, and gentle spirit brought happiness to everyone he met. His life was a beautiful reminder of unconditional love, kindness, and joy.

Left to cherish his memory are his devoted mother, Debra Harris Clines, along with many loving family members and dear friends who will forever treasure the time they shared with him.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, with Rev. Andy Case officiating.

Joshua’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
