John Shehan

John Franklin Shehan, 84, of Inman, died Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Spartanburg Medical Center-Mary Black Campus. Born January 24, 1937 in Mill Spring, NC, he was the son of the late Link Hill and Donna Pittman Shehan.

A US Army veteran, Mr. Shehan was truck driver for Smith Drug Company.  He was a member of Harvest Baptist Church.  Known around Inman as Mr. John, he was a kindhearted man and has now gone home to be reunited with his wife, Evelyn.

Survivors include a sister, Lillian “Sissy” Pittman (Charlie) and sisters-in-law, Billie Shehan, Erselle Shehan, and Angie Shehan.  Several nieces and nephews and his fur friend, Bo.  Mr. John was pre-deceased by brothers Will (Bit) Shehan, Bobby Shehan, Charles Shehan and sister, Betty Lou Wood.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 19, 2021, 11:00 AM at Good Shepherd Memorial Park, 4164 Boiling Springs Rd, Boiling Springs, SC 29316, with graveside service following at 12:00 PM.
