John David Pearson, 52, of Chesnee, died Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at his home. A native of Spartanburg, he was born on December 25, 1971, a son of Tommy Talmadge Pearson, Sr. of Myrtle Beach and Deborah Jean Rutherford of Chesnee.
He was a graduate of Boiling Springs High School, member of View Church, loved playing and repairing guitars, had played in various local bands, loved comic books and collecting items.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his schnauzer “Chauncey”, brothers, Michael Blake Pearson, Tommy Talmadge Pearson, Jr, Corey Austin Pearson, sister, Brianna Cheyenne Pearson, maternal grandmother, Geraldine White.
Graveside services will be at 4:00 pm Friday, May 17, 2024, at View Church Cemetery, 5555 Parris Bridge Road, Boiling Springs, SC 29316 conducted by the Rev. Tyler Kirby. The family will receive friends at the graveside.
