John Lester Brady, Jr

John Lester Brady, Jr. 77, of Atlanta, GA died on Tuesday, November 25, 2025. He was born on June 26, 1948, in Columbia, S.C. John graduated from Spartanburg High School in 1966 and Clemson University with a degree in Journalism in 1970. He was employed by the Atlanta Constitution following his graduation. An ardent Clemson fan, John’s daily choice of attire usually included the color orange.

John was preceded in death by his parents, John Lester Brady, Sr. and Sallie Catherine Grist Brady. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Donna Williams Brady of Atlanta, GA, a brother Earl Grist Brady of Inman, SC and a stepsister, Joy Nanney Finch (Boyd) of Inman, SC.

A graveside service for family and close friends will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
