Joel Spigel

Joel David Spigel, 75, of Spartanburg, SC died Friday, August 26, 2022 at Spartanburg hospital for Restorative Care. Born July 5, 1947 in Houston, TX, he was the son of the late Julian and Geneva Fulk Spigel and the husband of the late Janelle Nelson Spigel.

Mr. Spigel was a graduate of The Citadel. He was retired from Springs Industries, Lancaster, SC and was of the Jewish faith.

Survivors include his sons, David Spigel of Newport News, VA and Ross Lyda of Palm Springs, CA. He was predeceased by a son, Nathan Spigel and a sister, Conie S. Ferguson.
