Joe Stuart Trout Jr., 90, of Spartanburg, SC, died Thursday, May 5, 2016, in Chesnee, SC. Born February 22, 1926, in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Joseph Stuart Trout Sr. and Willeen Holder Trout. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Guy Carlton Trout. A retiree of Duke Power Company, Mr. Trout was a member of Ben Avon United Methodist Church, a lifetime member of Glendale Masonic Lodge #27 and Whitney Masonic Lodge #264, the Scottish Rite and Hejez Shrine Temple. A cryptside service, with Masonic Rites by Whitney Masonic Lodge #264, will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 10, 2016, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Complex, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, with the Rev. David F. Ervin officiating. Visitation will follow at the cryptside. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
