Joann Roberts

JoAnn Ballard Roberts, 78, of Pacolet, SC, died Sunday, May 15, 2016, at Spartanburg Hospital for Restorative Care. Born May 23, 1937, in Gaffney, SC, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Drucilla West Ballard. She attended Morning Star Baptist Church in Pacolet, SC. Survivors include her husband, George "Junior" Roberts; sister, Juanita B. Brown of Boiling Springs, SC, Helen Ruth Oxley and Monte Reaves, both of Spartanburg, SC; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Frank Ballard of Boiling Springs, SC. A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 PM Wednesday, May 18, 2016, in Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens, 4081 Hwy 9 N, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. Visitation will follow at the graveside.
