Jesse Pittman, Jr.

Jessie Clarence Pittman, Jr., 80, of Inman, SC died Saturday, October 2, 2022. Born October 22, 1941 in Hampton, VA, he was the son of the late Jessie C. Pittman, Sr. and Mary Keith Pittman and the husband of the late Virginia “Jenny” Smith Pittman.

Jessie was a pattern specialist at Mayfair Mills for 23 years. He was a member of Una First Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors include his stepchildren, Thaynell Lamb (William) of Knotts Island, NC, Jolene Lemons (Jerry) of Lake Charles, LA, Kenneth Childers of Spartanburg, SC and Mary Bullman of Spartanburg, SC; son-in-law, Bill Kimbell of Pacolet, SC; 16 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren; half-sisters, Laura Willard of Travelers Rest, SC, Rose Arrowood (John) of Greenville, SC, and Paula Schubert (Bob) of St. Petersburg, FL. He was predeceased by a stepdaughter, Kay Kimbell and brother, Charles Henson.

Graveside service will be 9:30 am Friday, October 21, 2022 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by The Rev. Kenneth Cash. Visitation will follow at the graveside.

Assemblage of the family will be at their respective homes.
