Jeneane Dalton Parsons passed away on Monday, May 4, 2026, following a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Jeneane was a true free spirit who found peace outdoors. She had a deep love for plants and flowers, especially flowers, with daisies being among her favorites. She enjoyed collecting rocks, making crafts, and spending time surrounded by her family. Jeneane dedicated many years of service as a surgical technician at Spartanburg Regional Hospital and Gaffney Medical Center and worked for ten years at Dolline’s Café Her gentle heart, creative spirit, and appreciation for life’s simple pleasures will be remembered by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughters: Crystal D. Sanford (Shaun) of Spartanburg, SC, and Tina M. Gregory (Brandon) of Cowpens, SC; her grandchildren, Dillinger Carson, LilyDawn and Lucas Scott; her faithful companion and beloved boyfriend, Joel Roddy; her sisters: Darlene Dalton (Yancy) of Cowpens, SC, Sherry Paysour (Lee) of Cowpens, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Parsons and her Parents Richard and Norma Dalton and brother Richard (Ricky) Dalton Jr.

A memorial service will be held later at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 250 Mt. Olive Rd., Cowpens, SC 29330.
