Jeanne Marie Earnhardt affectionately known as Granny, 74, of Spartanburg, South Carolina entered into the gates of Heaven on Monday, September 8, 2025, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.
Jeanne was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, the daughter of the late Ellis “Squeaky” Randolph Hawkins and the late Billie Marie Hughes Hawkins. She was a 1969 graduate of Spartanburg High School. In 1974, she married the love of her life: Jimmy Earnhardt. She was an active member and organist for over fifty years at Roebuck Methodist Church. She enjoyed needle work, and spending time with family and friends. Her grandchildren were her greatest joy. She also loved to relax with her family at Lake Greenwood. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Left to cherish Jeanne’s memories are her husband of 52 years: James “Jimmy” Edward Earnhardt, Jr; a daughter: Jessica Earnhardt Mullins (Travis); two grandsons; Jacob “Jake” Arthur Mullins (Mackenzie) and Elijah “Eli” James Mullins; brother: Ellis Randolph “Randy” Hawkins, Jr; a cousin: Diann Lamb; a special friend: Rhonda Moody who lovingly cared for Jeanne for the last three years.
The family will receive friends between 9:00 – 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, Sc 29307. The funeral service to honor Jeanne’s life will be held at 10:00 AM following the visitation. Rev. David Ervin and Rev. Jones Brewer will be officiating the service. The interment will follow the service in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
Jeanne’s memories will live for years to come in the hearts of everyone that knew and loved her.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home for the loving and professional care given to Jeanne and her family.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made in Jeanne’s memory to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.
The arrangements are entrusted into the care of Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel.
