Jean Carpenter

Wanda Jean Watkins Carpenter, 55, of Spartanburg, SC died Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born April 24, 1966 in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of Brenda Corn Watkins of Spartanburg, SC and the late Thomas Wayne Watkins.

Mrs. Carpenter was a production scheduler at AFL in Duncan, SC and a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Cowpens, SC.

Survivors include her husband, Ronald “Ronnie” Dale Carpenter; daughters, Christina Black of Spartanburg, SC and Katie Childers of Cowpens, SC; grandson, Deacon Childers; brothers, Ricky Watkins and Robbie Watkins both of Spartanburg, SC, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Calvary Baptist Church, 451 Pleasant Valley Road, Cowpens, SC 29330, conducted by The Rev. Henry Coley. Burial will be in Daniel Morgan Memorial Gardens, 175 Cemetery Street, Cowpens, SC 29330.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, PO Box 1811, Cowpens, SC 29330.
