Jason Chad Prosser

Jason Chad Prosser, 43, of Central Pacolet, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2024. Born on October 12, 1980, Chad was the son of Diane Chalk Cooper of Central Pacolet and was married to Shawna Parks Prosser. 

Chad was formerly employed with Piedmont Mechanical as a pipe fitter and attended Broome High School. His greatest joys came from riding his motorcycle and loving on his grandbabies, Little Man and Papa’s Pretty Girl! 

Along with his mother and his wife, Chad is survived by his son, Austin Mitchell; his grandchildren, Gabriel and Macey; and his step-daughter, Lindsey. 

The family will receive friends from 10:00-10:45 a.m. Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Floyd’s Pacolet Chapel, 141 Memorial Drive, Pacolet, SC 29372. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. John Michael Rochester. Burial will be in Pacolet Memorial Gardens. 

Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Bryant, Craig Hansen, Rodney Harris, Austin Mitchell, Josh Pruitt and Brandon Brandt.
