Janice Raines Harmon

Janice Madora Raines Harmon, 85, of Boiling Springs and formerly of Rock Hill, SC, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2023, at Spartanburg Medical Center.  She was born on December 24, 1938, in Spartanburg, a daughter of the late Clyde and Dora Gault Raines. Janice was married to the late Robert Lewis Harmon.

Janice was a member of Woodland United Methodist Church in Rock Hill, and she was retired from Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.

Surviving are her daughters, Debbie H. Parris (Lou) of Boiling Springs and Tammy H. Hailey (Chuck) of Rock Hill; her grandchildren, Alisha Harrison, Stephanie Bishop, Nikki Harmon and Charlie Hailey; her great-grandchildren, Caitlyn Harrison, Trinity Harrison, Gavin Harrison, Emma Bishop, Abby Bishop, Madi Bishop and Evie Harmon; one great-great-granddaughter, Bradlee; and a very special friend, Gail Easley of Rock Hill.  Janice was predeceased by a son, Bobby Harmon.

Janice’s graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, September 24, 2023, at Forest Hills Cemetery, 4290 Old York Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732, conducted by the Rev. Robin Griffeth.  The family will receive friends following the service.
