Jane Brown Snelgrove, 91, of Moore, died Friday, April 12, 2024, at her home. A native of Spartanburg, she was born on September 10, 1932, a daughter of the late James Durham and Bonnie Vandora Rice Brown and was the wife of the late Don C. Snelgrove, Sr.

 

She had worked as a proof consultant with Olan Mills Studios for 18 years and then owned and operated Garden Park Florist. She attended New Prospect Baptist Church.

 

Surviving are her sons, Don C. Snelgrove, Jr., (Donna) of Campobello and Michael B. Snelgrove (Robin) of Moore; grandchildren, Ben Snelgrove, Bo Snelgrove, Lee Snelgrove (Doreen), Sam Snelgrove (Ashley), Brad England (Heather) and Brittany Beaver (Aaron); Seven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Rebecca Snelgrove.

 

Visitation will be from 10:30 to 11:00 am Friday, April 19,2024, at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am in the chapel conducted by the Rev. Matthew Bishop. Burial will follow at 3:00 pm in Nazareth United Methodist Church Cemetery, 3159 Spann Road, Leesville, SC 29070. 

 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Nazareth United Methodist Church Cemetery fund.
