Irene Blanchard

Irene Eloise "Weezie" Harris Blanchard, 69, of Ocean Springs, MS, died Saturday, June 28, 2014, at Ocean Springs Hospital. Born February 26, 1945, in Asheville, NC, she was the daughter of the late Solomon Harris and Minnie Franklin Harris. Among survivors are her children, Regina Blanchard and James Blanchard, both of Ocean Springs, MS; sister, Juanita Fowler, and brother, Carl Jack Harris, both of Pacolet, SC. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, C. Lloyd Harris. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel, 141 Memorial Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29372, by the Rev. Norman Gardner. Visitation will follow the services at the Chapel. Burial will be in White Rose Cemetery, 708 Sunny Acres Rd., Pacolet, SC 29372.
