Helen Burnett

Helen Barroga Burnett, 84, of Boiling Springs, SC, died Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at her home. Born February 29, 1932, in Cagayan, Philippines, she was the daughter of the late Marcello Hustino Barroga and Rufina Batle Barroga. Mrs. Burnett enjoyed bowling and loved her church, First Baptist North Spartanburg, and family. Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Cletus L. Burnett; daughters, Debra Andriths (Gary) of Marysville, MI, Elizabeth Barroga of San Diego, CA, and Cris Tripam of Spartanburg, SC; eight grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; sisters, Divina Barroga, Virginia Barrentine, Carol Owens, Victoria Labarce, and Omega Barroga; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Rudy Barroga and Jaime Barroga. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, May 5, 2016, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel, 4161 Hwy 9 N, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, May 6, 2016, at First Baptist North Spartanburg, by the Rev. R. G. Burnett and the Rev. Chris Ellenburg. Burial will be in Good Shepherd Memorial Park, 4164 Boiling Springs Rd., Boiling Springs, SC 29316.
