Gregory Scott Lowe

Gregory Scott Lowe, 65, entered eternal rest on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at his residence.

Scott, as he was affectionately known, was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina. He was the son of the late Roy Arlen Lowe and the late Patricia Gail Wright. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Stacey Lowe.

Scott was a retired electrician and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and baseball. He loved attending his grandson’s baseball games. He was a man who enjoyed working and always had to stay busy.

Scott leaves behind loved ones who will cherish his memory for years to come. They include his daughter, Taylor Bailey (John); his precious grandchildren, Owen Bailey, Addie Bailey, and Easton Bailey; his brother, Bryan Lowe; and the mother of his daughter, Vickie Hayes.

Scott never forgot the help and guidance that Miracle Hill gave him during a very dark time in his life. He continued to give back to Miracle Hill to show his gratitude. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all who make memorial contributions in Scott’s memory to Miracle Hill Ministries in Spartanburg.

A private family celebration of life will be held to honor Scott’s life.

The arrangements are entrusted to the care of Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel.
